Strategy makers tried to slow the speed of the covid-19 situation by closing schools, colleges, and universities worldwide.

As a rough estimation, 1.2 billion students’ learning is at risk due to this coronavirus pandemic. In Pakistan, private schools have announced that schools will remain closed until this situation gets over. However, they are conducting online classes. This is how they are trying to maintain the loss of students’ learning.

It is still difficult to say when this pandemic situation will end and how countries will bear their students’ loss, especially the under-developed countries. It is one of the most important concerns that is being raised by different organizations worldwide.

In Lahore: Punjab Minister for school education has announced in his press conference that schools will remain closed until the end of the covid-19 situation. He said that the lives of students and teachers are more valuable than learning itself. Also, he made it clear that strict actions will be taken over the violation of orders.

On the other side, All Pakistan Private School Federation (APPSF) has demanded to open the schools by following proper SOPs. They have presented many suggestions in this context. To maintain social distancing, it proposed two shifts for running schools. One shift from 7 am to 10 am - and second shift from 12 pm to 2 pm.
